Thema: Octagon SF8008 4K UHD: buy it or not buy it?

Hi guys.I'd like to buy another linux box.I have currently an Octagon sf 4008.Unfortunately i knew that company would risk failing!At this point I wouldn'twant SF8008 to remain without support in a short time!What do you think?Very soon it will be released Zgemma H92H.I would prefer a german box.The chinese are small thing...Am i wrong?What do you suggest?SF8008 or other linux boxes?THX in advance.What do you think?What do you think?

Read on in the area then you will see that one does promise a lot but only 1/3 is kept. Therefore you better get another UHD receiver like the AX or the Dinobot, with the Dinobot you have Linux and Enigma!

Just a question out of curiosity: what is it that you find so great in terms of SUPPORT with Octagon? Even as a reviewer I never received any answers from that company at all. I did work for a while with the sf4008 and asked specific questions bu the only answer I got was to ask this on their forum. I did but to no avail. The only place where I found answers and help was on forums like this one and on DXTV. By other users, NOT by Octagon.

Meanwhile I have opted for the Edision Primo IP S2 which works perfectly well with streams of all sources. I can recommend it. Their instruction manual is just a double page with far too little information and the memory aboard is limited but then again the price is less than half. I'm afraid that expecting any help from manufacturers or wholesalers is no longer realistic unless you mean that you'd want to return it for a refund. Most representatives just don't care or don't have the knowledge. That's the price for cheap imports from the Far East I'm afraid.
