Preparations:

Required hardware:
1x SD card with 1GB/2GB (no SDHC cards, SanDisc or Kingston recommended)
1x USB stick - max. 4GB (SanDisc or Kingston recommended)

Unpack:
Unzip the file "201012_ZE-NC2010_RECOVERY.zip".
You obtain two folders, "No1_OS" and "No2_Application".

Preparations for part1 > No1 OS:
Double-click the folder „No1_OS“. You will see three files contained.
Format an SD card /(with 1GB or 2GB capacity) with FAT32.
Copy the three files from the folder +No1_OS" to the SD card. Make sure only to copy the three files!

Preparations for part2 > No2 APP
Double-click on the folder „No2_Application“.
You will find a folder „Application“.
Format a USB stick with FAT32.
Copy the whole folder called „Application“ inside the folder „No2_Application“ to the USB stick.

Installation:

a) Turn off the unit and wait 10 seconds.
b) Insert the SD card and the USB stick.
c) You can now turen the unit on manually.
d) The recovery update will be installed automatically.
e) The update procedure takes roughly 5 minutes. Do NOT interrupt or turn off the unit.
f) After the update has run through sucessfully, the unit will enter the tuner playback mode. Remove SD card and USB stick.

Versioning control:

Software versioning control is mandatory. (Setup > General > Page 2 > Version ...).
Please compare or use the versions that can be found in the instruction leaflet of the update that has failed.
If one or more version numbers deviate from target state, the update must be reinstalled in full.
If an error has occurred before, it is recommended to attempt any software update with a different USB stick (as the initial stick might have been damaged).
