Thema: EGAMI 5.1 - New Image

EGAMI 5.1requires a full reflash.
You cannot update from EGAMI 4.X.X or 5.0.X by On-Line way.
So what is different in EGAMI 5.1 then ?

The main difference is core of the image or the OE (Open Embedded); this has undergone a lot of changes, updates and fixes.

New features in EGAMI 5.1
[skins] add time and data in menus
[hdp] add OLED brightness

[infobar] add Third Infobar - it can be choose in EGAMI InfoBar Setup for OLD and NEW style of 2ndInfobar

[epg] add Virgin UK support.

[infobar] if no /temp/ecm.info, do not assume channel is 'FreeToAir'.

[egami] Improve french translation

[Harddisk] When formatting HDD, label the partition with the name of the machine.

[NetworkSetup] fix nfs autostart for new OE.

[TimerList] move Orb position after Service Name.

[TimerList] cleanup support code for RemoteTimer plugin.

[Satfinder] Allow access to plugin while recordings in progress

[InfoBarGenerics] only allow PiP zapping for STB's that support it.

[TimerList] add RemoteTimer support.

[Channel List] Correctly flag encrypted channels during service scan

[skins] Possibility to skin spinner. Just make a dir YourSkinName/spinner and put there wait1.png, wait2.png.........

[skins] use 'IsHD' instead of detecting size.
EGAMI Change-log:

Brandly new EGAMI Panel has been tottaly rewritten for better performance and stability. You can enter to it by MENU->EGAMI Panel or You can map it to any COLOR button on Your RCU !

+ EGAMI Media Scanner

This is 1st in the world feature which allow You install channel list and softcam config files WITHOUT PC or Internet Connection

Really ? How does it work ?

It is very simple, just plug in Your USB and Pop Up Window will appear and You can choose what it should do !

1) How to install channel list from USB ?

Put Your channel list to "updatechannels" folder on Your USB.

Plug in USB. Pop Up Window will appear. If it does not appear, press PLUGINS button and choose from the list Media Scanner


2) How to install SoftCam Config from USB ?

Put Your SoftCam Config file to "updatesoftcam" folder on Your USB.

Plug in USB. Pop Up Window will appear. If it does not appear, press PLUGINS button and choose from the list Media Scanner

Ich habe die Download-Links entfernt.
Da wir selber eine Datenbank haben, bitte ich dich das Image dort hochzuladen.
Solche Dateianhänge haben bei uns nichts im Thread verloren.

Das sind die OE Skins da fehlt dann glaube 1-2 Fonts drin.

Könnte man manuelle reinkopieren dann geht es denn auch bei ATV oder HDF machen diese Skins probs. die nachträglichen bei den beiden jetzt dagegen funktionieren.

Da bist du aber nicht auf dem laufenden, bei ATV funktionieren alle auf dem Feed liegenden Display skins.
Und soviel ich das noch weiß auch beim HDF !!

Dann haben sie jetzt die fonts im Image drin.

Denn du kannst ja mal eigenes Image aus git bauen dann hast di ipks und darin fehlen die Fonts, ist aber auch egal da es bei atv und hdf dann ja wohl geht.
Ich meine aber nicht die Skins die googgi gemacht hat, das sind andere.

Wer die bei Egami nutzen will muss halt nachinstallieren.
